The pontello soprano Delphine Da Pontello, the tenor, Pier-Yves Tétu and the baritone Jean Raphaël Lavandier, have fun with talent on this husband's merry history beaten in prickly flavour of the light comedy that would not have denied Offenbach. This lyric practical joke will delight big and small gourmets, curious to discover vintage Donizetti!



In the inn, Rita, the boss beats, tyrannizes her second husband, Beppe. But a day off-loads her first husband Gasparo, whom everybody considered dead. Formerly it was him who beat the boss on the theme: " I chastise so much that I love and I love hardly, I love very hardly ".
The reappearance of the ex-husband is for the poor man Beppe a golden opportunity to release itself from Rita.
The problem it is because Gasparo, the justifiable husband refuses to return with his wife …
This Opera sung in French is Gaetano Donizetti's work (on 1797 - 1848). Rita ou le mari battu, unusual title, evokes in a playful way the secular ambiguity of connections between men and women within the couple. In the comic way they settle their conflicts, the characters seem just taken from a comic strip. Today this comedy enchants us with its exceptionally funny musical construction: melodies, duets and trios, all funnier some than the others are linked on a splendid rhythm.

A show Eraterpe and Cie Brozzoni coproduces by Bonlieu Scène nationale Annecy with the support of the Conseil Général of Haute-Savoie, the community of the Town of Annecy and the City of Annecy.
