The legend says that in the VIth century, a girl of noble family returns relics of Holy Jean Baptiste ( three fingers) of Alexandria of Egypt. And that with the ownership of the relics, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne was set up as Bishop's palace. It is not such a legend.
