Visit of classified monuments :  The legend says that in the VIth century, a girl of noble family returns relics of Holy Jean Baptiste ( three fingers) of Alexandria of Egypt. And that with the ownership of the relics, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne was set up as Bishop's palace. It is not such a legend.
Come to discover the cathedral Holy Jean Baptiste (XIth - XVth century), its gothic convent of the XVth, as well as its crypt, beautiful example of rising Romanesque art.

Duration : 1h30 / Price : 3€ per adult and 1,50€ for 12-18 years old (free for children of less than 12 years old).

City visit : Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, historic capital of the valley, built itself step by step... Measure the streets of the city and discover the religious and political history of the city, the steps of construction of the city, the various architectural styles which mix, know how to them make craft, in particular the famous knife Opinel.
