In a region rich in harmony orchestras where the instrumental practice turns very often to instruments with wind, the Orchestra of the Countries of Savoy dedicates them a strong time.



For this concert, two big artists. The clarinettist of origin annécienne Philipe BERROD. 1st solo clarinettist of the Orchestra of Paris, he is regularly invited as soloist supervised by big bosses (Solti, Giulini, Barenboïm, Maazel). Paul WATKINS in the directiond e the Orchestra of the Countries of Savoy is the musical director of the English Chamber Orchestra. He managed almost all the orchestras of the United Kingdom.

Among the interpreted works, the concerto for clarinet in A major of Mozart written just after the Enchanted Flute. For Philippe BERROD, this work makes a message of beauty, humanity and brotherhood pass. This famous concerto of Mozart is framed by a play of Webern and a work of Kurtag. The symphony n°8 "in The Evening " of Haydn, ends the program.
