It is with a lot of heat and ardour that the group Kouban interprets these songs so lively which leave the public under the charm of these powerful and pure Slavic voices. An immense musical happiness....



The concert is dedicated to folk songs (with some Russian orthodox liturgical singings, native of big monasteries of the regions of Kiev and of Novgorod) which emphasize the exceptional vocal performances of 5 soloists of the group.


In these folk songs, it is the temperament of fire of the singers of KOUBAN which expresses itself. They are of a surprising variety, going melancholic singings to the graceful melodies, with splendid vocal whims.


The group is managed by Andreï KIKENA, tenor trained at the Academy of Kiev, which was a team leader of Red Army Choir and a manager of the Choirs of the Opera of the Academy of Kiev.
